Dave Gallego

Dave, like all of us is a huge sports fan hailing from Long Island, NY. Being the son of two European parents, father from Spain, mother from England , it would’ve been “illegal” in his household to not play soccer. As such, he developed a keen interest in the sport. He brings a sometimes brash and opinionated style of commentary to the podcast not always being so politically correct. When not watching soccer, Dave works in sales at NBC Universal. He also keeps busy playing music. He is active in two bands, Jerry and the Newcomers and classic rock band The Haze.

Jim Trecker

Back in the late ’60s and early 70’s there was a vision for what American Soccer would look like. One of the men the newly formed NASL turned to to help guide it was a young NY Jets Executive by the name of Jim Trecker. On this week’s episode of OTB, Kevin and Chris talk to Jim about those early years, working with Pele, what type of soccer player Joe Namath would have been, and the growth of the World’s game in the U.S.A.
