England wasn’t its sharpest and the US played inspired soccer. With passionate play from US Captain Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie and Yunus Musah the US kept England off balance but missed a couple of huge opportunities including one off the crossbar by Christian Pulisic. Controversy still surrounds the lack of minutes for Brenden Aaronson and Gio Reyna. Begs the question, even when the team is playing this well, shouldn’t we have our absolute best squad on the field? The boys need goals…period. Sets up a huge do-or-die game on Tuesday against Iran, who beat Wales 2-0.
